This year, our Clan turns 123 years old. From a simple straw house, our ancestors have worked tirelessly and selflessly to build the prosperous community that we have today.<\/p>\n
Apart from this lovely and spacious two-storey house that we are currently sitting in, our Clan also proudly owns another four properties left to us by our admirable ancestors.<\/p>\n
With all this, we must show our gratitude to our ancestors, and work hard to carry on their legacy.<\/p>\n
We must also be grateful to our current members who have greatly contributed to the clan. With their generous sponsorship and participation, our clan is wealthy in both funds and spirit. I would like to especially thank honourable president Mr Han Keen Juan and his wife Mdm Ng Choi Hong for their unwavering support.<\/p>\n
Of course, we must not forget our active clan members for your enthusiastic participation, and for keeping the spirit of the clan alive.<\/p>\n
A special mention for our immediate past president, Mr Han Pock Fong, who have served tirelessly since 2004 till now. I can\u2019t begin to express the amount of devotion Mr Han Pock Fong and his committee shown this Clan for the past 18 years. Thank you Mr Han Pock Fong.<\/p>\n
In this new chapter of our clan, I will do my best to lead everybody into a bright new future. I hope I can do all of you proud, as well as encourage a new generation to share our vision in bringing prosperity to the clan. Thank you all.<\/p>\n
